The UK airline will offer no-cost quick onboard internet via Starlink partnership

Passengers aboard this carrier are set to use quick connectivity in the air free of charge following a major deal from the billionaire's space company.

The carrier revealed that this no-cost, “quick and reliable” wifi offering from Starlink becomes accessible to travelers in economy, premium economy, or first class from next month.

Expanded Deployment Over Various Carriers

The umbrella company of British Airways, the airline group, stated it had secured an partnership involving the satellite firm to provide wifi coverage for over 500 aircraft operated by its airlines, such as Aer Lingus, the Spanish carrier, plus Vueling.

The airline noted that the rollout of the system was part of a £7bn “modernization” plan and would deliver lag-free wifi service to travelers starting at boarding to landing, also when they are flying above large bodies of water or remote regions.
